Velvet fabric to make six small altar cloths to cover a tabletop 10" x 15" as used in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Fabric comes with five colors on one yard, and 1/4 yard of gold velvet to make the sixth tablecloth. Construction of the cloths is a beginner-level project and produces a very fine-looking and -feeling product. Fabric is designed by St. Tabitha's Workshop to match the scale of the CGS altar, and is printed in bright, fade-resistant colors on a durable, upholstery grade 100% polyester velvet that is machine wash/dryable (the fringe/trim you add may change the washability). The majority of the scraps left over are gold, so you may find many uses for the extra fabric elsewhere in the atrium!
Also needed (not included): 12 yards of 2" gold fringe, gold-colored thread, and sewing equipment. Detailed instructions with photos are here.
