This is a kit to sew a 14-piece set of Byzantine style priest and deacon vestments for the "Vestments of the Priest" church school lesson in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) curriculum. The deacon’s vestments are also included as an add-on lesson.
The set includes all of the materials to make: the priest's inner vestment (sticharion), stole, belt, cuffs, shield, black hat, and outer vestment (phelonion), and the deacon's outer vestment (sticharion), cuffs, orarion, and black hat. This improved set now comes with the 13" tall posable artist figure (manikin) and a durable storage box with magnetic closure. The fabric comes with the patterns printed directly onto the fabric, so there is no fussing with measuring or making & using a paper pattern.
This kit includes:
- all of the fabric needed to sew the inner and outer vestments
