Quilt Patterns - Where East Meets West
The world of quilting, from traditional to modern, pairs wonderfully with the beautiful artwork of the Eastern Orthodox Church. My designs serve our niche community and are also a great way to learn basic sewing and quilting skills.
Materials for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
In the church school curriculum "Catechesis of the Good Shepherd" (CGS), the catechist (teacher) makes or gathers the materials for each lesson. I provide kits and fabric for several lesson plans that require Orthodox Christian patterns. To purchase directly from my fabric supplier, go to my collection of fabric designed specifically for Orthodox CGS and my collection of cross fabric for fabric items for the classroom.
Sewing Instructions
You don't have to know much about sewing to be able to make play vestments, soft hand crosses, Pascha basket covers, and more, since I write detailed sewing instructions with photos for these unique sewing projects.
Custom Designs
The most common custom order I receive is for home altar cloths. If you'd like to order a set, contact me with the dimensions of your home altar and we'll go from there. I have also made custom minky baby blankets, cloth books, bags, and other things. Let me know what you have in mind; I don't charge extra for custom work!
